This year's EA Play convention has been moved to being an online format due to the coronavirus.
EA Play Live 2020 will take place from 11 June at 11 pm UTC in the form of a livestream by EA.
This event is expected to contain announcements for EA's annual releases of this year such as FIFA 21 as well as games for the upcoming ninth-gen consoles, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
The usual annual EA Play conventions contain hands-on gaming events and behind-the-scenes looks at many recent EA releases.
Last year's EA Play took place on 8–9 June 2019 and featured games such as Apex Legends, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and FIFA 20. The event also featured unique photo opportunities with characters, and giveaways for Apex Legends copies and merchandise, as well as creator meet-and-greets with YouTubers and Twitch streamers such as Pokimane and Dr Disrespect. A lot of these will be missing from an online-only version.
