Today's special edition of Inside Xbox by Microsoft has showcased a multitude of new games coming to the upcoming Xbox Series X. Here are some highlights.
Dirt 5 has been announced to be coming to the console, with a trailer shown during the event. This game can support up to 4K resolution or up to 120 FPS, but not both atthe same time, when it releases this October.
Assassin's Creed: Valhalla has had a gameplay trailer released and will be releasing at the end of the year. In the game you must build your power in an open world to become a god feared by all.
Bright Memory: Infinite also had a trailer released containing developmental footage showing graphics you'd expect to only be able to use on a high-end PC. The game was previously announced for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, and is set in a metropolis 15 years after its 2021 release date.
Horror game Scorn, in development for over five years, had a cinematic trailer released, and will be coming to the Xbox Game Pass when it comes out.
Second Extinction is a co-op game where you have to survive in a world overrun with dinosaurs.
The Ascent is an isometric top-down RPG shooter set in a cyberpunk world after the corporate world government collapses. It will be releasing later this year.
And sci-fi Chorus puts you as a wanted fugitive trying to escape her cult, and will be releasing next year.
This edition of Insider Xbox wasn't all about new games – it was announced that users who purchase a game on Xbox One will get a free copy of the Series X version. This offer includes games me tioned above such as Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, Chorus and The Ascent, and more.
