Re-Logic has announced the PC release date for Terraria's final update, ending 9 years of development on the game.
Version 1.4: Journey's End will be releasing for PC on 16 May, which is the ninth anniversary of the initial release of Terraria.
The release date for consoles is yet to be confirmed, but will be announced soon.
This update includes a full re-visit to all elements of Terraria
, says Re-Logic, as older content may have been rendered obselete or redundant because of newer features added over the years.
This update will contain almost a thousand new items, some new monsters, revamped world generation, and a new difficulty mode.
Re-Logic says that Terraria will not receive any further updates apart from fixes and maybe a few tidbits here and there to shore things up.
