Minecraft's annual Minecraft Live convention for 2021 was announced yesterday by developer Mojang.
On 16 October 2021 at 16:00 UTC, Mojang will host a live show all about the game. It will include interviews with developers and community members and a new mob vote where players can vote for a new mob to be added to the game.
Additionally, the theme of the next major update to the game, version 1.19, will be announced, and more information about the remaining features of the Caves & Cliffs update may be revealed.
More information will be released by Mojang as we get closer to the date of the event.
This is set to be the last livestream-only Minecraft event, with Minecraft Festival set to begin next year, an in-person convention reminiscent of the old Minecon convension which ran from 2011 to 2016.
