The release date for Part One of the 1.17 Caves & Cliffs update has been announced by developer Mojang.
The first part of Caves & Cliffs is set to be released on 8 June, Mojang announced , which is in just one week's time.
Part One does not include all Caves & Cliffs features due to the update being split in two back in April.
The new features in Part One include amethyst geode structures, found underground; azalea flora, found in the new lush caves; the axolotl, goat and glow squid mobs; copper ore; candles; the spyglass; stalactites; and deepslate rock.
Features to be added Part Two include an increased world height, mountain biome overhaul, and the deep dark biome set to include the new warden mini-boss.
Caves & Cliffs will be released as version 1.17 on both Java Edition and on Bedrock Edition on all available platforms.
This announcement comes alongside the release of the second pre-release for 1.17, which fixes bugs.
